The mountain range that surrounds the North Pole. They are very tall, and made of black stone and metal, very mineral-rich, and also very hot. Silver phosphorescent sand coats the rocks, making them slippery and emit a sort of aurora at night.

The North Pole lay in the center of the badlands, this vast expanse of black and white sand, making it look ashen gray. Thermonuclear vents often blow steam or lava out of the sand, creating tall volcanoes here and there, which then break down over time adding to the sand.
