Ok, guys. Let's get serious for a moment. Here's some rules for those players behind their characters, just to make sure that people feel safe here.
- Keep mature themes to a minimum. There are younger people who use the internet, and some are going to turn up at this site. Any mature content must be kept to a minimum, as this is a safe place for ALL roleplayers. Mild violence, blood and gore, sexual themes are allowed in SMALL doses, but there must be a warning in the thread description. Anything extremely graphic will be removed and your account may be disabled for an amount of time, or you will be banned.
- Be kind and considerate to everyone. This includes in character and out of character. This is a safe place, and people don't like being attacked for beliefs/thoughts/etc.
- No godmodding. This should be obvious, but please don't take control of another's character. You may control slight things in the environment, but please keep your control power limited.
- Swearing in small doses. Some people don't like swearing, and so please do not go overboard with it. Again safe place, for fun, so making people uncomfortable is not the best way to go.
- Play. No one likes to rp by themselves, that's not the point of a community. those people could write, but they want to interact with other humans. So, if you see a thread in an area where you frequent and it has no replies for a while, please reply. And in return, people will post to your threads when you make them. This way, nobody feels left out.
- No threats. If it is part of you and your arch-enemies' plot, then go ahead, as long as both parties are okay with it. However, OOC is a different story. Please do not threaten anyone, it again does not make anyone feel safe. You wouldn't want to not feel safe, would you? For those that answered a "yes" to that rhetorical question, please just don't threaten anyway.
- No cheating/Be honest. This includes taking more than your fair share of mutations, godmodding, forcing another character to be in any kind of relationship with yours (gray area for OOC plotting where both parties agree), lying about radiation points, turning up in a location across the planet (or similar drastic distance) within seconds, roleplaying two places at once, etc.
- Do not disrespect others. This includes disrespecting a character because you dislike the person behind it,
vice versa, etc. Please remember that a character is not necessarily a direct reflection of the player and should never be treated as such. Even when a player bases their character off of themselves, others would not know that, and they are never the exact same anyways.
